Shoes are donated to various groups and communities in Cameroon. The project focuses primarily on children in orphanages, hospitals and local schools, but adults also receive donations. We also support a range of local sports groups and associations where young adults need shoes for various sports activities.
Shoes are sent to our head office in Berlin from all over the world. These shoes are then transported to our warehouse in Berlin where they are packed and then shipped to Cameroon by container. Volunteers help us collect, select and pack the shoes. When the container arrives in Cameroon, volunteers help us to carefully distribute and send the shoes to our target groups who need shoes.
Yes, the project accepts financial support. Without financial support, we wouldn’t be able to cover the considerable cost of transport to and customs duties in Cameroon. 100% of the money donated goes directly to transport and logistics costs. No financial donations are used for administrative purposes.
